Applying for Membership

There are five classifications of membership in the ASFP

a) Forester-In-Training - (FIT)
b) Forest Technologist-In-Training - (FTIT)
c) Registered Professional Forester - (RPF)
d) Registered Professional Forest Technologist - (RPFT)
e) Restricted

The eligibility requirements for each class of membership are detailed in the bylaws.

Application Form: The application form contains detailed instructions on the application process. If you are still unsure on the application requirements please contact the Registrar.

Depending on your circumstance you may also require a Sponsor Form or a Reference Form.

Canadian Academic Programs: Programs recognized by the ASFP. Other academic programs may be considered after an academic qualification assessment by the Admissions Committee.
