Code Of Ethics
As a member of the Association of Saskatchewan Forestry Professionals, I will commit myself to the duties outlined in the Code of Ethics. As a regulated professional, through my responsibilities to the public, to the profession, to the client or employer and to other members I shall:
Strive to practice based on sound ecological principles
Truthfully represent the profession, my employer and myself
Ensure my competence through continuing education and constant improvement
Work conscientiously, diligently and efficiently
Advocate, promote and practice the highest standards of forest stewardship
Recognize and give credit to others for professional work assistance, methods, facts and opinions
Diligently promote truthful, factual and accurate statements on forestry matters
Strive to avoid improper or questionable work practices by others or myself
